The RoboSense Ruby Plus is a 128-beam mechanical LiDAR purpose-built for L4+ autonomous driving commercial operation. Compared to the original Ruby, Ruby Plus reduces volume by 50%, weight by 52%, and power consumption by 33%, while achieving a breakthrough detection range of 240 m at 10% standard reflectivity — a 20% overall performance improvement. In high-performance mode, Ruby Plus can increase horizontal angular resolution from 0.2° to 0.1° at 10 Hz refresh rate for denser point cloud data.
Ruby Plus has passed dozens of automotive-grade reliability tests including mechanical shock, random vibration, low-temperature operation, high-pressure water impact, and EMC — and has supported large-scale RoboTaxi pilot operations for companies including Momenta, IdriverPlus, DeepRoute.ai, and AutoX.
