DexHand021 MP is DexRobot's flagship mass-production five-finger dexterous hand, built for continuous 24/7 industrial deployment. Combining a 19-DoF rope-driven bionic design with 23 integrated multi-modal sensors, active thermal management, and a 1,000,000+ cycle lifespan, it delivers human-like dexterous manipulation at production scale.
At 1 kg and 292.6 × 113.2 × 56.5 mm, the DexHand021 MP matches the proportions of a human hand while providing ≥12 N fingertip force, ≥38 N grasping force, and a 5 kg total hand load. Its 23 sensors cover position, temperature, multi-dimensional normal and tangential force, and proximity — with 0.1 N sensitivity for precise contact detection. Real-time temperature monitoring and automatic protection ensure stable operation even under continuous heavy workloads.
The DexHand021 MP ships development-ready with Python, C++, and ROS integration, the DexTac simulation framework, DexCanvas datasets, and support for motion capture, VR teleoperation, and reinforcement and imitation learning workflows. CAN FD communication and a standardised mounting flange make integration with humanoid robots and collaborative arms straightforward.
