DexHand021 S is an ultra-lightweight industrial-grade three-fingered dexterous hand from DexRobot, engineered to deliver 80% of core human hand manipulations at an accessible price point. Weighing just 0.6 kg — roughly the weight of a bottle of cola — it combines a rigid-flexible coupling transmission system with a bionic soft body surface to achieve natural, precise grasping across industrial, logistics, research, and medical environments.

With 8 degrees of freedom, 22 N fingertip grip force scaling up to 100 N peak at the base, and a rated load of 2.5 kg (5 kg maximum), the DexHand021 S handles the full range of everyday manipulation tasks with room to spare. Its gear, tendon, and linkage three-mode transmission delivers stepless torque control and dynamic self-adaptation, while the elastic soft body with micro-textured surface provides touch sensation close to real human skin for delicate handling tasks.

Built for reliability, the DexHand021 S has passed 200,000-cycle loaded life certification and supports CAN FD and RS485 communication for seamless integration with humanoid robots, cobots, and custom platforms.
