MagicHand S01 is MagicLab's first self-developed dexterous hand, designed to advance the mass adoption of humanoid robots in industrial and commercial applications. With 11 degrees of freedom and hybrid force/position control combining current sensing and tactile feedback, the S01 executes precise grasps, two-finger operations, and complex part manipulation with a force resolution of 0.1 N. Weighing approximately 580 g, it achieves 5 kg individual payload and 20 kg when mounted on a MagicBot humanoid using both arms, with individual finger grip force of 2.5 kg and combined four-finger force of 9.1 kg. All core components are self-developed by MagicLab including the miniature electric push rod, multi-turn absolute encoder, six-axis motor driver, and high-sensitivity tactile sensors, with 30% safety margin built into actuators for maximum reliability. Real-time synchronisation with MagicBot at up to 100 Hz enables precise, fluid robot body-to-hand coordination.
