OceanTrix R1 is OceanTrix Robotics' entry-level dexterous hand, drawing on the company's 30 years of robotics manufacturing expertise to deliver a compact, reliable, and accessible manipulation platform. With 6 degrees of freedom, aviation-grade aluminium construction for structural durability, and CAN and RS485 communication, the R1 supports Python and C control for rapid development and integration. An optional tactile sensor upgrade adds 13 high-precision touch sensors for contact-aware grasping, while a 30 kg lift capability (2-3 times higher than competing models in its class) makes the R1 stand out for payload-demanding tasks. OceanTrix positions the R1 for educational robotics, research platforms, industrial automation, and competitive robotics applications including Go-playing robots.
