Pudu D5 is an industry-grade autonomous quadruped from Pudu Robotics, the company behind over 100,000 service robots deployed across 80 countries. Unveiled at iREX 2025 in Tokyo, the D5 marks Pudu's expansion from hospitality and indoor service robots into rugged outdoor and industrial automation. Standing approximately one metre tall and weighing around 45 kg, the D5 carries up to 30 kg of payload with over 2 hours of full-load runtime, and covers up to 14 km per single charge for large-site patrol and inspection. Dual 192-line LiDAR sensors and four 120° fisheye cameras deliver near-360° environmental awareness, while NVIDIA Orin and RK3588 dual processors provide up to 275 TOPS for real-time SLAM, 3D reconstruction, object recognition, and path planning. Rated IP67 and operational from -20°C to 55°C, the D5 is built for airports, metro systems, industrial campuses, ports, and substations where autonomous, unsupervised operation is required.
