Unitree 4D LiDAR L1 is the industry's first omnidirectional ultra-wide-angle bionic 4D laser radar, delivering a 360° x 90° hemispherical field of view and 21,600 measurement points per second for comprehensive 3D spatial perception above the sensor. Unlike conventional planar LiDAR, the L1's dual-motor architecture — a high-speed motor driving a rotating reflector for 180° vertical coverage, and a low-speed motor rotating the entire measurement core 360° — produces a genuine half-sphere point cloud ideal for humanoid robots, quadrupeds, robotic arms, and mobile robots. At just 280 g with a minimum detection distance of 0.05 m, the L1 supports SLAM, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and gesture recognition. Compatible with Go2, H1, and all Unitree platforms, it ships with a USB-to-serial adapter and supports ROS1 and ROS2 via open SDK.
