Unitree D1 is a lightweight 6-DoF servo robot arm designed for seamless integration with the Unitree Go2 EDU quadruped, transforming it from a pure locomotion platform into a mobile manipulation system. Weighing just 2.37 kg and reaching 550 mm (670 mm including jaws), the D1 delivers 500 g payload for basic grasping, pick-and-place, and object interaction tasks. Operating at 24V via an RJ45 control interface, it supports position, velocity, and force control modes through Unitree's low-level and high-level interfaces. The D1 enables embodied AI research combining locomotion and manipulation, interactive demonstrations including ping-pong paddle holding, classroom robotics education, and mobile manipulation prototyping where a lightweight, compact arm is sufficient.
